Our promise,
in plain English.
Everstead by Strategy Crate · Effective September 5, 2026
Everstead is an ongoing website service for independent service businesses. These terms describe the founding plan and what “the last website you’ll need to buy” means in practice.
Your website can evolve.
We provide a supported website, hosting at an Everstead address, guided connection for one customer-owned domain, optional browser alerts, a private owner workspace, stored customer inquiries, version history, export, and up to four assisted routine change requests per monthly billing period. The plan supports one business, one primary location, four pages, up to eight listed services, and an existing external booking link.
A clear price.
The initial payment is $199: a $120 launch fee and $79 for your first monthly service period. Subsequent service periods are $79 per month until you cancel. Your first month starts when Checkout is completed. Applicable taxes, if charged, are shown at Checkout. Domain registration and renewal, third-party services, and custom development are separate. No payment is required to create and review a private preview.
What routine care includes.
Supported requests update wording, owner-supplied business facts, hours, service areas, services and prices, contact details, color direction, announcements, and the existing booking link. One request can be active at a time. Requests that cannot be completed within this scope are explained and declined. Preparing a draft uses one request, even if you later dismiss it; technical failures do not use the monthly allowance. Unused request allowances do not roll over. Automatic drafts are proposals; you must review and approve them before publication.
What this plan does not promise.
The founding plan does not include an online store, memberships, custom applications, new CRM/calendar implementations, advertising management, guaranteed search rankings or customer volume, unlimited edits, or permanent service for a one-time payment. Email inquiry notifications are not included. Browser alerts are available where supported and must be enabled by the owner. Domain connection requires you to control the domain and add the records shown; registration and renewal stay with your provider. Inquiries remain available in your workspace. A future feature or integration is not included until it is available and described in your plan.
Your facts and decisions stay yours.
You provide accurate business information and have permission to use the content you submit. Review names, contact details, services, prices, claims, booking links, and every proposed change before approving. Everstead does not invent credentials, reviews, results, or guarantees. Do not upload confidential client information, payment card details, medical records, identity documents, or passwords into public website content or change requests.
Publication, reliability, and recovery.
Payment confirmation is verified with Stripe before the approved preview is published. If confirmation or publication is interrupted, the system retains the payment mapping and retries reconciliation. Do not purchase again to resolve a publication problem. Your workspace shows the current state. Published versions are retained so you can restore an earlier version; restoring content does not delete inquiries or change your subscription. Monitoring and recovery improve reliability but do not constitute a guarantee of uninterrupted service or a particular response time.
Customer inquiries.
The contact form stores an inquiry before displaying success. You are responsible for checking the workspace and responding to customers. Replies open in your email application. Optional browser alerts notify you of new inquiries and review-ready changes; delivery depends on browser and device settings. Email notifications are not connected. Do not treat submission as confirmation of a booking, quote, order, or emergency response.
Cancellation and ownership.
You can cancel renewal from the billing portal linked in your workspace. Service continues through the paid period, after which the public site and new inquiry intake may stop. Existing content and inquiry exports remain available for at least 30 days after the paid period ends. Download a copy before leaving. Your content remains yours; Everstead needs permission to store, process, and display it to provide the service.
Your exit is usable.
Exports include a portable HTML/CSS website, business facts, and an inquiry CSV. The portable site uses email and an existing booking link for customer contact. Hosted account access, the inquiry database, change generation, and monitoring are service features and do not run inside the static export. Keep the inquiry CSV private and publish only the website files. No export fee applies.
Billing changes and refunds.
Manage payment details, invoices, and cancellation through Stripe’s portal. A failed payment does not extend service beyond the paid period. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund an elapsed service period. If a paid website cannot be delivered, preserve your invoice and the workspace error for resolution with Strategy Crate through the contact information shown on your Stripe receipt. Any rights that cannot be excluded remain applicable.
Accounts and recovery.
Use a unique password and keep your account recovery code private. A person with that code can reset your password. You can recover the account yourself using the saved code. You are responsible for actions authorized through your account and for keeping your exported customer information secure.
Keeping the promise honest.
“The last website you’ll need to buy” means a website designed for ongoing supported changes, with a usable export if you leave. It does not mean every possible future business model, every new integration, perpetual hosting, or a fixed price forever. Material plan changes will be presented before they apply to a future paid period.
